Heather has 10 years experience as a practicing and accredited psychotherapist (MIAHIP, MIACP) working with couples, adults and adolescents. She is passionate about couples and marriage; upholding the importance of enriching and developing relationships. She has a background as a secondary school teacher, teaching Art & Design to teenagers in the inner city. She worked for 6 years in a community health clinic in Ballyfermot, providing therapy to individuals suffering from a wide variety of issues, such as anxiety, depression, post-natal depression, sexual difficulties, sexual abuse, bereavement, stress and trauma. She has also worked in Pieta House counselling teenagers and adults struggling with suicidal ideation and self-destructive behaviours. Heather believes that creativity and real spirituality are integral to health and healing.
